The holidays can be fantastic or they can be a trap. The holidays can make hostages of people in recovery. All of us in recovery, at one time or another, experience our first set up holidays as a person of recovery. These times can be so challenging for so many of us. Some of us get through with flying colors, others barely get by, while others relapse. Obviously, if you were the person that passes with flying colors then you are experiencing the holidays as they are designed to be experienced. For so many people the holidays represent something you must survive rather than something you get to experience. This podcast is designed to help you find your way. We don’t have to be held hostage. We can get through these holidays as a person involved in the celebration of friends, family and making memories.

Robert is the Recovery Guy. Getting clean and sober on April 25, 1986 has given me the insight and practical skill set to not only stay sober, but to also re-invent myself to the person I always wanted to become. Showing others how to do this is my life goal.
