inspiration that inspires

Inspiration That Inspires – Today I want to look at 4 areas with respect to inspiration. I want to look at what it is, why is it necessary, where does inspiration come from, who is affected by it, and finally steps to getting and staying inspired.

  1. What is inspiration
  • an inspiring or animating action or influence
  • something inspired, as an idea
  • a result of inspired activity
  • a thing or person that inspires

From a theological perspective, it is

  • a divine influence directly and immediately exerted upon the mind or soul
  • the divine quality of the writings or words of a person so influenced
  1. Why is it necessary

Without inspiration things become old and no longer refreshing. We become stale and stop finding it desirous to grow

  1. Where does inspiration come from

Inspiration comes from everyone all the time. WE can easily find inspiration in nature, people, thoughts, music, books, and experiences

  1. Who is affected by it

The number of people affected by our inspiration is only limited by our personal outreach. Often, we inspire people we have never nor will ever meet

  1. Steps to getting inspiration
  • Understand the value of inspiration
  • Begin or continue to view each experience as an opportunity to be inspired
  • Feel the power of inspiration from within
  • Share the inspiration with others
  1. Staying inspired
  • End each day with an inspirational thought or memory from the day
  • Start the next day with inspiration before getting out of bed
  • Feel a deep sense of gratitude for another day to be inspired
  • Begin looking at all things as a source of inspiration
  • Share with others the inspiration you have found

When we do this our life stays focused and inspired. We will feel the energy and joy of each passing moment and will be blessed by others as others will be blessed by us.

Inspiration that Inspires

Robert is the Recovery Guy. Getting clean and sober on April 25, 1986 has given me the insight and practical skill set to not only stay sober, but to also re-invent myself to the person I always wanted to become. Showing others how to do this is my life goal.
