I hope you are looking at your recovery as an ongoing project. It has to be ongoing. If we stop doing what we did to get to where we are at we run the risk of falling to where we started and even further back. We must view our recovery as a journey. The minute we think it is a destination and consider ourselves as someone who has arrived we are in danger. Please understand and practice that our new found value needs to be used in helping others find their way. It is likely you got to your level of accomplishment with the aid of someone else. Let’s be that someone else to others as well. Most importantly, let us explore how many areas of our life this new found way can benefit.

Robert is the Recovery Guy. Getting clean and sober on April 25, 1986 has given me the insight and practical skill set to not only stay sober, but to also re-invent myself to the person I always wanted to become. Showing others how to do this is my life goal.
