If we are to be consistent in our pursuit of God, as we understand God, we need to know that fear was not intended for us. What was intended for us was power and love and a sound mind. This is a biblical reference that I find to be very encouraging. Fear is to be used as a motivator or an indication that something needs to be changed. Living with a sound mind is not only consistent with what God wants for us, but it makes much more sense in our pursuit of a positive and productive life.
