One of the things I am most grateful for in my personal journey is those I met along the way. Most importantly, the people who were there before me came from more than just to get sober. They were taught and they subsequently taught from the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous. Whether you agree with the Big Book or not, I believe you will agree with the principles as they are laid out. The word recover, recovered, and recovery are used throughout the book. From the foreword to the first edition in the Roman Numeral section to page 146, recovery is taught as a goal. I hope you understand that it is more than about getting sober. I hope you understand that recovery is the goal.

Robert is the Recovery Guy. Getting clean and sober on April 25, 1986 has given me the insight and practical skill set to not only stay sober, but to also re-invent myself to the person I always wanted to become. Showing others how to do this is my life goal.
